The Acceleration process for the pilot (Chapter 5) non-sewage portable toilet was discussed in “Examples of Grand Challenges“. Here we provide some example impact KPIs. Under the acceleration process, these KPIs will be determined in a joint discussion among all cohort members and will be finalized by the Accelerator Jury:
- infections rate per 1000 population decreased by x%
- 1 toilet per x hundred persons is standardized
- trash is air-proof stored
- trash transportation simplified
- trash recycled
- self-cleaning system
- minimum maintenance
- soap access
- x liters of water available per person to wash
